Two Finns, two Australian Shepherds, one plan.
In 2024, on the first of January, we started filming the whole thing — the money, the boat search, the plans for living onboard. Nothing polished, nothing skipped.
Three years, that was the deal we made with ourselves: work, save, design, build, leave. After two years we got this crazy idea of building a boat. And now we are on that track.
Right now, Koru is in design and planning — a 50-foot aluminium performance catamaran based on a Mumby 48, reworked for the way we actually want to live aboard.

I have spent the last twenty years building companies from raw ideas into global growth stories, alongside managing tech sales and marketing. Cruising and racing have been in my blood since childhood. Right now, I am focusing full-time on launching The Sailing Finns concept — and, of course, mentally & physically building our new boat.

My 15+ years in marketing and leadership roles has taught me a thing or two — my real mastery lies in all things visual, words, and stories. While I am an organizer and planner at heart, for me, sailing is ultimately about learning to let go and live in the moment. I'm here for a good time and the good life.
